NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 26, 2026 — Commercial Insurance Associates, one of the nation’s largest property and casualty insurance brokers, has added Lee Winchester as a producer in the company’s Construction Practice group.
Winchester will focus on expanding CIA’s presence in Florida and supporting contractors across the infrastructure development sector, including asphalt, concrete, and underground utility operations. The addition of Winchester supports the firm’s broader strategy of strengthening its national construction footprint while deepening expertise in regional markets such as Florida.

A seasoned insurance professional, Winchester began his career with NorCal Mutual before transitioning to USI Insurance Services, where he advanced from small commercial to middle-market sales. Most recently, he specialized in infrastructure and heavy civil accounts, advising clients on complex risk and bonding strategies in highly specialized segments of the construction industry. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees (MBA) from Middle Tennessee State University.
Winchester brings a personal connection to the field he serves. Raised in a family-owned asphalt company, he understands firsthand the operational, contractual, and financial pressures construction firms face.
