NASHVILLE, Tenn., April 28, 2026 — Commercial Insurance Associates, one of the nation’s largest property and casualty insurance brokers, today names Tripp Waller as a producer in the company’s Waste, Recycling, & Environmental practice. The addition is the latest in a series of strategic producer hires that reflect CIA’s aggressive growth plans across key industry verticals.

Waller will focus on the waste, recycling, and environmental sector — a practice where CIA has established itself as the largest broker in the country, representing more than 350 clients from New York to Los Angeles.
“Tripp came up through our internship program and earned this role the right way — by doing the work,” says Todd Batson, director of producer development. “He brings the kind of focus and industry-specific curiosity that our waste and recycling clients expect. This practice is one of the most specialized in the country, and Tripp is built for it.”
Prior to being named a producer, Waller balanced his duties as an intern with the firm while a full-time student at Lipscomb University in Nashville. He will graduate next month with a B.A. in Management and Finance. He holds both Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses issued by the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, and completed the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers’ six-week introductory insurance program.
