NASHVILLE, Tenn., August 27, 2026 — Commercial Insurance Associates (CIA) is a 2026 Top Insurance Employer by Insurance Business America, an honor given to organizations that meet a minimum employee satisfaction threshold among their own staff. It is CIA’s third consecutive year on the list.
“Being recognized for three years running says it all,” according to Scott Denbo, CEO. “Even amid significant evolution at CIA and across the broader insurance market, it’s great to see our team remain so dedicated and cohesive.”
According to Insurance Business America, the 2026 rankings are “based on information supplied by participating organizations and feedback from their employees…To qualify for the
2026 list, organizations needed to achieve an average employee satisfaction rating of at least 75 percent among their own employees.”
CIA has continued to build steady momentum across all areas of its business since receiving the Insurance Business America recognition last year:
- An expanded Employee Benefits practice and office in Los Angeles to complement the Nashville-based EB group.
- Revitalized its construction practice with key hires Cole Hairston and Lee Winchester, based in our new Jacksonville office. EB veteran Joe Malzacher also joins and is based in Jacksonville. Recently added Ben Robinson, based in Tampa, to strengthen CIA’s manufacturing practice, and Mac Bullock in Houston, targeting the oil and gas industry.
- Launched Atlas Risk Group, the first group captive exclusively for the railroad construction industry.
- Several CIA stars are recognized for their individual achievements:
○ President Will Denbo as a Top Platinum Broker by Insurance Business America (IBA)
○ Jordan Goff and Evan Swindall as Rising Stars, also by IBA
○ Jimmy Whitehair as Agent of the Year by Insurance Journal
○ Amy D’Andrea as an IBA Elite Woman of 2026
○ Will Denbo, Scott Denbo, and Cole Hairston as PropertyCasualty 360 Insurance Luminaries for 2026.
