NASHVILLE, Tenn., August 6, 2026 — Commercial Insurance Associates, one of the nation’s largest property and casualty insurance brokers, has brought on Benjamin Robinson as its newest producer.
Based in Tampa, Florida, Robinson will focus on growing CIA’s manufacturing book of business across Florida and the Southeast.

Robinson started his insurance career at Brown & Brown before moving to USI Insurance Services. While at USI, he worked with middle-market companies in agribusiness, manufacturing and real estate to reduce their total cost of risk and increase their bottom line. His work has included on-site facility visits to understand how clients’ products are made, guidance on international sourcing and foreign workers’ compensation issues, and supply chain risk planning — including hurricane preparedness and disaster planning for Florida-based manufacturers reliant on backup suppliers and alternative sourcing locations.
“I’ve always been fascinated by product manufacturing, starting with watching episodes of ‘How it’s Made’ as a kid,” says Robinson. “It gets you thinking about the risks behind the process and the product. I look forward to bringing that same focus to my role at CIA and giving manufacturing clients the kind of dedicated, responsive service they need.”
Robinson is active in the wider Tampa business community, with participation in the Bay Area Manufacturing Association, the Port of Tampa Maritime Industry Association, and the Real Estate Investing Association (REIA).
